Yes. Developer-ready Figma handoff is the standard deliverable, not mockups that require interpretation. This means: a structured Figma file with components using auto-layout so spacing and sizing are programmatically correct, design tokens for colours, typography, and spacing attached as Figma variables, every interactive state covered (hover, active, disabled, error, loading, empty), and a dedicated handoff frame showing all component variants with their specs. If you use Storybook, the designer can align component naming to your existing component library. If you use Tailwind, the designer can annotate with specific Tailwind class equivalents for spacing, colour, and typography values.

Yes. A design system is a Full Day or Sprint Pack engagement depending on scope. In a Sprint Pack (2 weeks), the designer delivers: a component library in Figma with all base components (buttons, inputs, cards, modals, tables, navigation) built with auto-layout and variants, design tokens for the full colour palette, typography scale, spacing system, shadow presets, and border radii, usage guidelines for each component, and a Figma template for new screen designs that references the component library. If you need the design system implemented in code as well React components or Tailwind tokens PM can pair a designer with a frontend engineer in the same Sprint Pack so both deliverables are complete and aligned.
